At the end of the aisle is a long narrow tablet, the gift of Sarah Emily Witherell in 1894, in memory of her mother, Sarah Ames Witherell (1814-1866), sister of Oliver Ames who built the church, and eldest daughter of the first Oliver Ames.  This tablet was designed by Charles A. Coolidge and carved by the John Evans & Company.
